After spending over a decade representing individual clients in the traditional system of divorce and separation, One Family Law’s founder Melissa Bourgeois recognized the negative effects the adversarial system had on individuals and families and developed an alternative approach; one that offers amicable couples a straightforward and fair way to separate by hiring only one lawyer to assist them from start to finish – together.
